Position Summary
- The Data Architect is responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals to access. The duties include identifying a hospital’s internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure for users. The duties may include preparing architect reports, monitoring the system, and assisting system migrations, programming on-prem and cloud-based applications, integrations and dashboards.
Primary Position Responsibilities

- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve hospital data.
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
- Installing and configuring information systems to ensure functionality.
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems
- Provide operational support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

- 8 years experience Code applications in C#, .NET, Python, and SQL.
3 years experience Administer IIS servers in GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
8 years Experience Create Stored Procedures, Views, and data structures in MySQL, and SQLServer.
4 years experience Scheduling and automation of applications

Experience in policy/procedure development and staff training; ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The ability to teach users and support them in the use of applications.
