Compares output to control totals and makes corrections to codes and batches as necessary. Being a Data Control Clerk prepares and distributes output reports as instructed. Job Summary :
This position compiles and records production data for maintenance shop to compare records and reports on volume of production, quality control and other aspect of production to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
Must be trained and have certificate for completing the ERPS clerk function in G-Army. AR 750-8 & AR 750-1.
Processes work orders within Government standards to meet contract requirements.
Tracks work order and parts / parts status to identify work orders that can be scheduled and worked.
Performs duties in accordance with GCSS-Army operating instructions. Opening, closing and finalizing work orders. (Primary GCSS-Army Operator)
Calculate work orders parts used and hours. Enter data into computer program.
Provides information relative to progress and completion of work.
Sort and distribute work orders or materials to workers.
Compile and maintain, Work Load Status Reports, Maintenance Request Register and Equipment Density reports.
Ensures all reports required by the PWS are accurate, thorough and on time; notifies management immediately after a second attempt failed contacting customer when compiling report information.
Maintain and distribute information on equipment license plates to government representatives.
Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
Assist production control supervisor.
Responsible for customer relations within the production control office.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification :
High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of automated data systems and automated data system input.
Experience working in a facilities maintenance and repair environment.
Experience in customer relationships and maintaining accurate records and databases.
Experience with GCSS-Army.
Must be trained and have certificate for completing the ERPS clerk function in G-Army. AR 750-8 & AR 750-1.
