Data Control Clerk jobs in Lansing, MI

No experience needed, we will train! We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals with a positive attitude; a strong work ethic; and a willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently and repetitively and must be willing to work in all weather conditions. Working well with others and in a team environment is a necessity.

Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining and removing temporary work zones including but not limited to; warning signs, traffic cones/drums, portable changeable message boards and portable target arrows in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to ensure the safety of the public and those working in a construction zone. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading of equipment onto work vehicles, as well as maintenance and building of equipment as needed.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma/Equivalency

Additional Requirements:

• No previous experience is required but must have a willingness to learn
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Must pass a DOT Physical and drug screen for all positions
• Ability to speak fluently, read and write in English
• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be able to commit to long work hours when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
