Job Summary The Business Analyst I is responsible for primary support for all user applications, including but not limited to, the client's core claims adjudication system, and Microsoft Office software. The Business Analyst develops new applications and processes, as well as learns and provides solutions to new mandatory requirements of the Information Technologies industry. This individual must be able to work within a dynamic atmosphere, where budgets and priorities are subject to constant change. The Business Analyst I must also be motivated to implement client's standards, when appropriate, and willing to learn new technologies and standards as they arise. The mission of the Business Analyst is to provide, within budgetary allowances, adequate, reliable computer desktop support to the employees of client and others, as required.
Requirements

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 Years Experience in Healthcare or Claims Payment industry
- 1 year of SQL language experience
Preferred Requirements
- Associate degree in a Related Field
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of current information technology and an ability to lead project teams to accomplish automation projects of large size and complexity.
- Proficient in all Microsoft programs; high level proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication, project and PC and client/server skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Experience with online technical troubleshooting procedures.
