Data Analyst Intern (Summer 2025) - Revolutionize Collegiate Baseball

As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing and leveraging cutting-edge baseball technology to optimize player performance and team strategy. You'll work with a variety of tools, including YakkerTech, Blast Motion, AWRE, Rapsodo, and motion capture systems, to extract valuable insights from player data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Clean, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
• System Development: Contribute to building and improving data pipelines and visualization tools
• Strategic Insights: Provide actionable insights to coaches and players to optimize performance
• Player Development: Collaborate with college coaches to track player progress and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python or R
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Knowledge of baseball analytics or a strong interest in the sport
• Familiarity with sports technology (e.g., Rapsodo, Blast Motion) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must have some baseball experience
