Position Description
The client has been selected to build and deliver an SAP S4HANA solution which is primarily a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) solution incorporating SAPs Defense and Security industry solution. The implementation includes the build-out of the EAF S4HANA solution stateside/CONUS before the eventual shipment of technical solution to Egypt/Basatin. Final deployment activities in Egypt include testing, data migration, training, and cutover. Sustainment activities will follow.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive the Data Migration effort from Mainframe to S4 HANA 1909 for MRO Data. They should have a complete understanding of Data Migration in SAP and extensive hands-on experience in SAP data migration tools. At least two end-end implementation experiences in Data Migration projects leading a team, and guiding them through the entire process.
Required Skills- Experience in at least 3 End-End SAP Implementation Projects.
- 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP Data handling.
- ETL design and implementation involving extraction and provisioning of data from a variety of legacy systems.
- 5 years of strong expertise in Data Migration including extraction transformation cleansing and loading (ETL) from Legacy systems to S4 HANA
- Expertise to handle data provisioning and error handling from various sources
- Strong Communication and Organization skills 5 years
Job Duty 1 with % of time Drive the Data Migration effort from Mainframe to S4 HANA 1909 for MRO Data, limitations, entry, and exit criteria etc.
Job Duty 2 with % of time Manage Data Migration using SAP data migration tools.
Job Duty 3 with % of time Lead project team through Data migration activities through entire process.
Job Duty 4 with % of time Work with Engineering Business and System Integrator to prepare, review, and execute Data Migration and Data Cutover plans to meet Project timelines.
Job Duty 5 with % of time Prepare a detailed Data Cutover plan and ensure proper communication to all stakeholders and
aligned with the plan and timelines.
