Equisure, an Amwins Group, Inc. affiliate is looking for an Insurance Data Processing Specialist for their Aurora, Colorado office. The Insurance Data Processing Specialist will be responsible for entering names, addresses, figures, dates and other applicable data and information into Equisure’s insurance agency specific software.
This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple, simultaneous responsibilities, and be able to work autonomously. As an Insurance Data Processing Specialist within Equisure, this individual will have the chance to progress quickly and gain exposure to all sides of this rapidly growing specialized team.
This is a full-time, in office role that will sit at Equisure's Aurora, Colorado office location. Equisure is a specialized insurance agency, focusing on writing insurance for horse and dog related risks. As a qualified candidate for this role, there is the opportunity to learn more about insurance in this niche agency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Enter names, addresses, numerical figures, dates and other data and information into insurance agency specific software.
- Assist with daily deposits and post payments to client accounts
- Actively learning various software programs
- Posting taxes and fees to numerous states. This includes reconciliations and checklists to match data to be posted and paid monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Accurately produce insurance policies
- Assist with other data entry functions like insurance cancellations, endorsements, and renewals.
- Periodically contacting clients and vendors to gather additional information.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks in a flexible manner
- Must possess advanced analytical skills, basic math skills and Excel experience preferred
- Ability to have professional interactions with various levels of internal and external personnel
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail system skills
- Ability to maneuver state tax websites.
- Passion for animals, Equine Science background preferred
- Ability to obtain insurance license within 1 year of employment
