Performs data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, implement data models, conduct analysis, and develop databases. Being a Data Scientist interprets results from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools. Collaborates with teams to understand each data analysis projects' underlying purpose, focus, and objectives. Additionally, Data Scientist designs, develops, and implements the most valuable data-driven solutions for the organization. May require a master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Scientist work is closely managed. As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to manipulate large data sets, integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into solutions under management guidance. You will build experience developing analytical approaches to meet business requirements, which involves translating requests into use cases, test cases, preparation of training data sets and iterative algorithm development.
What you will do
Execute code to generate business results, code efficiency improves solution delivery

What experience you need
3 years’ experience, or equivalent education, in the credit, collections, marketing, and/or fraud analytics arena
3 years of experience in Big Data/GCP environment and friendly language such as BigQuery, Python, Scala, etc.
3 years of experience in GCP cloud native tools and techniques
3 years hands on experience in python programming and analytics required, experience with R, Python,
What could set you apart
Active cloud certification (can be Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)
Experience building logistic and linear regression solutions, knowledge of advanced machine learning and deep learning methodologies preferred
Python, Scala or other statistical packages preferred
Knowledge of credit bureau, macroeconomic, housing and/or demographic data is preferred
Business knowledge of mortgage, rental, property data or insurance is preferred
Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research,
Economics or other related discipline; or equivalent analytics work experience is required
Experience with G suite applications such as docs, sheets, slides etc..
Ability to build visualizations using Tableau/Spotfire applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple departments
in solving cross-departmental issue
Detail oriented, proactive, efficient with ability to accurately gather and analyze data
Ability to clearly present statistical solutions to non-statistical people
Ability to create new ideas for statistical solutions to customer’s business issues
