Data Security Manager manages and guides the maintenance of systems to protect data from unauthorized users. Develops and administers policies and procedures for identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations. Being a Data Security Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Data Security Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Data Security Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Work Environment
As an Account Manager, you will spend time both in the office as well as onsite at customer locations, with frequent local travel required. It is critical that Account Managers spend time face to face with customers to build and strengthen relationships. Occasionally, Account Managers may receive phone calls and emails from Customers outside of normal business hours that require a prompt, after-hours response in order to provide a high level of Customer Service.
