Title: Data SpecialistClassification: Non-Exempt
Scope of Position: Support and improve program operations, data capture, customer flow andreport writing and generating capabilities. Oversee performance numbers related to invoicingand prescribed performance goals. Responsible for the integrity of the participant file folders.
Essential Functions:• Review paperwork and databases for accuracy• Ensure data entered on the required system(s) is current, accurate and timely• Input data into required systems• Act as the liaison between the program and EDSI administrative staff on issuesconcerning performance numbers• Develop, implement and oversee the maintenance of filing, record keeping, distribution ofmaterials and other types of office/program systems• Audit participant file folders for accuracy and compliance• Respond in a timely manner to requests from the contracting agency on issues related toperformance tracking• Provide regular status reports and other requested data for the manager and EDSIadministrative staff• Retrieve and organize critical operations reports• Present data and report to leadership in a clear and effective manner, using graphs,tables and other methods• Create customer lists to support teams in focusing their efforts• Track, report and ensure compliance with procedures regarding ISO auditing• Provide regular and ad-hoc reports as requested from program management• Identify and relay quality assurance service gaps to support staff development throughteam check-ins• Other opportunities as available
Education and Experience Requirements:• Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills• Willingness and ability to learn the programmatic rules• 1-2 years related professional experience preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
