Data Warehouse Specialist performs technical administration duties for the development and maintenance of data warehouses. Provides technical support and coordination during warehouse design, testing and movement to production. Being a Data Warehouse Specialist acts as a liaison between engineers, data architects, programmers, and analysts. Implements and enforces standards and procedures to ensure data is managed consistently and properly integrated within the warehouse. Additionally, Data Warehouse Specialist manipulates and combines data from various sources to enlarge and enhance the data warehouse. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Data Warehouse Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Pay Rate: $22 / hour
Hours: 1st Shift (5am - 3:30pm) or 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 2am)
Job Summary:
1. Use computer to maintain an inventory of parts and tools,
2. Unpack and stock all component parts for tools,
3. Maintain a stock inventory of all parts on computer,
4. Retrieve parts for tool techs as requested for necessary repairs,
5. Maintain and track all tools in use in the field on computer,
6. Process all paperwork related to shipping tools to the field and
7. Complete purchase orders and purchase expendable items (solvents, paint, etc.) for the facility.
Qualifications:
- SAP experience required.
- Inventory knowledge and heavy machinery experience preferred.
