Data Warehousing Director jobs in Kansas
Data Warehousing Director directs the team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of data warehouse systems and projects. Has overall responsibility for the development of data warehouse strategy, architecture and standards that meet business needs. Being a Data Warehousing Director ensures that new data platforms can be successfully integrated with existing warehouses, and that data warehouse systems fully support organization-wide data initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Data Warehousing Director typically reports to senior management. The Data Warehousing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Warehousing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Warehouse worker is responsible for the component rack system. This is done by stocking component racks, pulling materials from component racks for production, stages materials for delivery.
- Utilizes a computer to record inventory movement.
- Maintains the component rack area, keeping it clean and organized.
- Operates a forklift needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:- Must have forklift experience for at least 3 years.
- Experience handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies; operating material handling equipment; accessing information on a computer; and reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.
- High attention to details and strong organizational skills.
- Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms to handle material.
- Willingness to be cross trained and learn all aspects of Bennett's warehouse procedures and processes.
- Must be safety conscience always and exercise great care regarding the equipment, materials and the safety of others and oneself.
QUALIFICATIONS- High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
- Must be able to follow work practices and safety guidelines and regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
- Ability to stand on feet for 8- or 10-hour shift.
