Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management, processing, and analysis of HIV/AIDS data utilizing industry-standard software.
- Ensure the precision of data through thorough reviews and necessary corrections.
- Produce comprehensive reports using MS Office tools to guide program development.
- Offer technical assistance and training to both staff and stakeholders regarding HIV/AIDS data and initiatives.
- Uphold data integrity by complying with national standards and regulations.
- Transform data into actionable insights by interpreting findings, evaluating processes, and identifying opportunities for program enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to bolster HIV prevention and surveillance efforts.
- Prepare detailed reports for funders, stakeholders, and organizational leadership on project activities and outcomes.
- Engage in state and federal committees and workgroups as required.
Required Skills
- Profound data management and analytical abilities.
- Extensive proficiency in SAS for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on task prioritization and deadline adherence.
- Solid foundation in data reporting and statistical analysis.
- Experience working with diverse populations and HIV service providers.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and agency database systems.
Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) or a PhD in a relevant discipline (epidemiology, biology, genetics, nursing, virology) with a minimum of 3 years of SAS data analysis experience; or a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or Master of Science (MS) in epidemiology or statistics with at least 3 years of SAS experience.
- Proven experience working with individuals living with HIV and diverse populations.
- A robust understanding of data management, reporting, and statistical analysis.
