Position: FT - Electronic Health Records Administrator/ Database Administrator ($62K - $65K) (Hybrid).Location: Allentown, PAThe Organization:Valley Youth House empowers and strengthens the lives of children, youth, and families through inclusive programming that builds resilience and fosters growth and independence. The agency is committed to ensuring that clients and staff feel safe, have choice and voice, collaborate in a trusting environment, and are empowered to make a difference in their own lives and the agency.Essential Functions of the Electronic Health Records Administrator/ Database Administrator:
- Provide leadership and capacity in the selection of correct EHR tool(s) and customization to meet the needs of program models and agency goals.
- Lead the development of OUs and roles to match existing programs and staff roles to efficiently define user access in compliance with principles of least privilege.
- Author and maintain reporting/dashboarding to leverage EHR data to support agency growth, verifying contractual obligations, quality assurance, and data-based stories.
- Coordinate with the QA team to ensure quality data entry and auditing of services in compliance with regulations, VYH policies, and contracts.
- Monitor EHR performance and identify access issues and service problems.
- Support security-aware best practices and security audits of EHR tools.
- Be the primary point of contact for EHR vendor coordination including implementing improvements and supporting new initiatives utilizing tool improvements.
Qualifications of the Electronic Health Records Administrator/ Database Administrator:- She/he shall possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree and either equivalent experience or demonstrated education in database reporting and administration.
- At least foundational knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
- The administrator will have a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage team members, coordinate multiple tasks, and will possess sound judgment.
- They must never have been convicted of any child abuse offense.
- Shall possess or obtain required clearances and a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements of the Electronic Health Records Administrator/ Database Administrator:- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. X Occasionally.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. X Occasionally.
