Write and maintain PL/SQL programs. Perform and coordinate database upgrades, monitor database performance, and tune it when needed. Provide technical oversight of the architecture and engineering of our cloud-based systems and build infrastructure as code scripts. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum Experience Required Five years of experience in related occupation including five years’ experience in database administration; Oracle Database, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Fusion Middleware or Weblogic and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Linux OS, Disaster recovery, Database Patching, Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, and PL/SQL & Two years’ experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) IT Automation tools. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities In depth experience with Oracle cloud products, Oracle RAC and Oracle Linux. A working knowledge of load balancing software. Experience with the Oracle cloud infrastructure (OCI). Skills using and administering Oracle database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Podman, Gluster, Weblogic and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), and PL/SQL programming language. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. ALTERNATE REQUIREMENT: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate. Knowledge or experience with network administration and configuration. Knowledge of Research Administration systems.
