Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Database Administrator for our client located in Montgomery, AL.

Job Overview:
The Database Administrator will be working in a team environment that will operate in all aspects of database design, security, monitoring, and administration of SQL Server versions 2012 and Azure DB, including writing advanced SQL queries and stored procedures and working with SSIS to build and maintain ETL packages. Duties may include the following:
* Meet with business partners to understand requirements.
* Communicate with technical, applications, and operational teams to ensure database integrity and security.
* Create design documents, develop and unit test code changes, and participate with users in UAT testing.
* Understand new and existing processes and come up with methods to resolve issues.
* Manage database access across various user groups (internal and external).
* Assist in Database Design and Development.
* Create and maintain SSIS packages to import / export data and automate processes.
* Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
* Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
* Recommend optimizations to existing application queries.
* Data security monitoring.
* Support production databases after hours as needed.
