    Summary:

    The Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of landscape architecture and civil engineering projects. This position requires a blend of creative design and technical engineering skills, as well as interpersonal and personnel management skills, ensuring projects are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints while meeting or exceeding design and sustainability standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage landscape architecture and civil engineering projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
    • Monitor and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
    • Coordinate with clients, team members, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment with expectations and requirements.
    • Oversee the design process, ensuring innovative, functional, and sustainable solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards.
    • Manage project teams, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to inform project decisions.
    • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to landscape architecture and civil engineering.
    • Conduct and facilitate reviews of work underway and in advance of delivery dates, both internally and across the project team. Oversee coordination and implementation of review comments internally and externally.
    • Foster relationships with clients, communities, and industry partners to support business development and project opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional licensure in landscape architecture and/or civil engineering is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape architecture or civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
    • Strong understanding of design principles, construction methods, and materials related to landscape architecture and civil engineering, including stormwater management design and erosion and sediment control best practices.
    • Proficient in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD (Civil 3D, Storm Sewers, Hydrographs) Excel, Microsoft Project).
    • Experience with municipal, county, state and federal permitting for site development projects.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    Work Environment: Typical office setting. Remote/Hybrid may be available.

    Travel: This position may require travel to project sites and client meetings.
