Database Marketing Analyst

 

• Performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs.
• Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation.
• Runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers.
• Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion.
• Requires bachelor's degree.
• Reports to manager.
• Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
• Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. 2-4 years related experience (would prefer more)
• You will analyse end to end campaign performance, driving insight and delivering strategic recommendations used to optimise future campaigns (SAS/SQL)
• Execution tasks include utilizing the SAS Customer Intelligence Studio tool to develop campaigns that extract specified data from the marketing database
• Utilize SAS Enterprise Guide to perform quality checks in order to validate campaign selection
• Develop Automated process for recurrent campaigns, reports and database processes, and implement effective solutions using statistical analysis systems SAS databases and schedulers
• Execute targeted audience selections using SQL and SAS programming
• Developing customer analytics, reporting and dashboards to provide timely and accurate customer insights to key internal stakeholders
• Partner closely with IT group to understand infrastructure and database capabilities
• Collaborate with central Data team on gaining access to data sources through the Cloud infrastructure
