POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Research Director or Principal Investigators, the Database Manager functions in database design, development and management, and performs various tasks necessitating data required for research projects in the healthcare setting. This position is responsible for the analysis of user needs, database design, programming and life cycle development of clinical study applications. The Database Manager will assist in the evaluation and research of 3rd party’s needs and conduct feasibility studies to determine appropriate solutions. Communicate well with the user through all phases of database development, management and support. Perform duties in a manner consistent with a complex, diverse, dynamic hardware and software environment that serves a complex medical/education community.
