Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual PT/OT Aid (Chinese/English) to join our team at our center. This is an immediate opening, and we are looking for someone who can communicate effectively in both Chinese and English languages. As a PT/OT Aid, you will provide crucial support to our Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, enabling them to deliver exceptional care to our diverse client base. Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists with daily tasks, exercises, and therapies.
• Help prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Aid in transferring and positioning clients as required.
• Record and report client progress and any changes in condition to the therapists.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, clients, and their families in both Chinese and English.
• Provide support in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of therapists.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all professional and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English languages (verbal and written).
• Previous experience as a PT/OT Aid or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to assist with physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with therapists, clients, and their families.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with physical disabilities or impairments.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families.

Rate:

• The hourly rate for this position is in the range of $16 to $18, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
