Dealer Relationship Manager establishes and maintains relationships with automobile dealerships with the goal of promoting indirect loans. Provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's loan products, and tracks dealer metrics and performance. Being a Dealer Relationship Manager maintains working knowledge of products and programs, and ensures that dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards. Continually surveys competitive market loan rates and prepares reports for management. Additionally, Dealer Relationship Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Dealer Relationship Manager gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary: As a Dealer Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships within our dealer network. Your primary focus will be on fostering partnerships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to dealer engagement and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Analyzes territory opportunities and discovering customer needs.
    • Develops and implements strategic relationships with key decision makers.
    • Generates and develops new business.
    • Supports new promotional programs.
    • Creates solution-based sales strategies.
    • Provides world-class customer support.
    • Conducts sales presentations and provides training on new programs and products.
    • Fills Sales fundamental and channel specific training classes within assigned territory.
    • Develops business plans and executes business plans as defined by channel specific marketing programs.
    • Provides reconnaissance of competitors' influence within territory and develops a plan to counter their influence within assigned territory.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimal Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field equivalent experience
    • 5 years related sales experience to include account management
    • Ability to travel up to 50%

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Effective negotiation skills with the ability to understand the complex sales process.
    • The analytical ability to understand key business metrics.
    • Working knowledge of OEM role in 2 step distribution model.
    • Previous trade experience, experience in the power generation, or installed equipment industries preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple audiences.
    • Effective presentation skills.
    • Self- motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
    • Ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
    • Willing to visit multiple locations daily.
    • Proven ability to implement process improvements within a matrix organization.

    Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
