The Position:
Thomas Edison State University seeks a full-time Associate Dean; a member of the leadership team of School of Business and Management. The School of Business and Management is the second largest school with a student population of approximately 1,800 students, offering more than 14-degree programs: Associate through Doctorate and certificates exclusively online. Many of the programs have national recognition for their academic quality and value. Several of the school’s degrees are accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and have partnerships with private and government organizations for developing and improving programs.
Applicants for the Associate Dean will be academically and professionally qualified, energized to work at a face pace, and excited by innovation and the power of education to improve lives. Under the direction of the Dean, the Associate Dean assists in the general administration of all academic and operational dimensions of the school.
The Associate Dean is responsible for organizing, planning, and coordinating curriculum development and implementation, recruitment, retention, strategy development and implementation, research and development activities for the School of Business and Management. The Associate Dean works as a liaison across the University partnering with other Schools, programs, coordinators, and administrative offices to facilitate the goals and objectives of the school and University.

Requirements:
Education: Earned doctorate in business, management, or aligned academic discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience as Associate dean, chair, and/or experienced faculty/administrator in a higher education developing and managing graduate and undergraduate market-relevant business, management, and/or related degree and certificate programs.
