Additionally, Dean of Communications requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Communications manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Marking Communications Senior Specialist is responsible for the building of marketing and operational comms through the appropriate application, using Stensul, HTML/CSS and/or JavaScript coding as needed to build and produce emails. Lastly, the Senior Specialist ensures testing and timely execution of campaigns is completed.

What You'll Do- Builds HTML email creative deliveries across multiple ESPs (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, etc.); and SMS messages as required.
- Responsible for coding, proofing, testing, and troubleshooting HTML code.
- Perform technical quality assurance.
- Confirming successful delivery by monitoring daily ACC deployment report.
- Assemble email templates using HTML/CSS/Media queries from Photoshop layered artwork.
- Demonstrate knowledge of common email rendering bugs and workarounds.
- Strong technical skills including an expertise in HTML and ability to troubleshoot coding errors.
- Serve as subject matter expert in determining which emails are candidates for templates vs. custom builds.
- Proactively work with other members of the team to improve processes and workflow for greater efficiency.
- Multichannel execution out of Adobe Campaign including but not limited to email and SMS. This includes marketing and operational communications.
- Execution and management of high volume of email campaigns.
- Proofing of Marketing and Operational emails and SMS including, but not limited to, acquisition/upgrade campaigns, product notifications, payment reminders, cancellation notices, new subscription updates and account maintenance.
- Liaison with key external vendors and internal boundary partners.
- Contribute to documentation of tasks and best practices.

Who You Are
Minimum- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
- Solid understanding of dynamic email content, personalization techniques, and email marketing automation workflows using JavaScript.
- Proficient in leveraging XML and JSON data formats to dynamically replace placeholders with relevant information, ensuring accurate proofs within marketing campaigns.
- Programming languages such as JavaScript for implementing conditional statements to customize email content and behavior.
- Experience with rich-media personalization elements featuring real-time content, including proficiency in live content platforms (Liveclicker, Movable Ink, etc.)
- Basic Photoshop for image editing and optimization in email templates.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms and tools or comparable email marketing tools.
- Basic understanding of testing and QA.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office and some use of database and project management tools, preferably Airtable.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
- Ability to multi-task and manage many deadlines across multiple tactics.
- Ensure emails consistently adhere to all branding guidelines.

- Effective communication with internal boundary partners and campaign owners.
Preferred- 5 years of experience in related field (i.e. Marketing, Business)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
- BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business).
- Prefer certification and/or experience in Adobe Campaign.
- Prefer end to end email and SMS execution.
- Experience using email testing tools, (i.e. Litmus).
- Experience across operating systems, browsers, ESPs and different devices.
USD 70,700.00 - 106,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $70,700.00 - $106,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
