Dean of Pharmacy jobs in Monroe, MI

ICP is a Long-Term Care Pharmacy serving customers in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We are seeking a Billing Associate to support the team with prior authorizations and rejections.

Some of the specific functions this position requires are as follows:

• All aspects of billing and insurance prior authorizations
• Responsible for submitting and tracking prior authorizations
• Assist with month end billing process
• Assist with resolving rejected claims
• Workflow prioritization
• Participate in organization and department meetings
• Backup telephone coverage and price quotes

Ideal candidates would have experience or knowledge in long-term care pharmacy billing or general pharmacy billing, insurance rejection management, insurance verification, or insurance plan types.

Qualifications:

• Dependable
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Pharmacy billing experience (preferred)
• High School graduate or equivalency by testing
• Proficient in the following skills: verbal and written communications, Microsoft Office, organization, attention to detail, follow-up, and the ability to meet deadlines.
