Reports to VCP 7-12 School Principal

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
The best candidates for this position will embody the values and beliefs at the heart of the VCP mission and vision.

They will also meet the following qualifications and possess these preferred skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Teaching License

• Three (3) years working with student / school culture

• Competency in using tracking systems, and data analysis

• Proven outcomes in working with parents and families in regards to school culture

• Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

• Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program

  
  

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL ACCOMPLISH

• Ability to manage school culture systems desired outcomes

• Ability to capture school culture data and translate that into action

• Strong understanding of restorative practices

• Ability to support target staff and student interventions

• Data management tools, organizational tools, and computer skills (Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Forms, Etc.)

• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively; maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships.

• Use feedback from the Assistant Principal of School culture and Principal

• Works as a member of the Student Response Team

• Provides support for teachers struggling with classroom culture.

• Manage tier 1 and tier 2 discipline issues

• Manage re-entry plans and parent meetings

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
