Decision Support Project Specialist jobs in Topeka, KS

Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters.     ? Pre-sales support of all customer demonstrations and proof of concepts for display technology,
    software and services primarily focused on interactive flat panel displays.
    ? Support events, shows, and customer/partner engagements.
    ? Post-sales training/professional development delivery in the education vertical.
    ? Provide professional development and on-going support to Samsung education customers and
    build long term relationships acquiring future hardware, software and services sales.
    ? Deliver in-person and virtual demonstrations in front of educators and district personnel for
    K12 and Higher Education institutions.
    ? Gather customer requirements and develop customized professional development offerings
    focused on learning outcomes to improve student engagement and teacher effectiveness.
    ? Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and maintain a focused execution to
    manage a regional territory.
    ? Be a Samsung advocate and raise awareness with all education accounts with hardware,
    software, services and professional development.
    Experience Required:
    ? Live in the near a large metro area with access to a major airport and travel will be 80%.
    ? Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a classroom and teaching certification is required.
    ? Bachelor's Degree is required.
    ? Strong understanding of education pedagogy and technology requirements with demonstrated
    success of delivering high quality professional development.
    ? Embrace technology and experience with training and lesson development.
    ? Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
    ? Must be able to work independently as well as with the existing sales team.
    ? Creative individual with high energy and a can-do attitude.
    ? Excellent public speaking and written communication skills.
    ? Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 80% of the time). Overnight travel
    may be required.
    ? The ability to move and transport equipment (under 75lbs) may be required.
    ? Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills required.
