Reports To: Deposit Operations Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

Operations Support Specialist must be highly organized and detail-oriented. The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing various deposit-related activities and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, a strong understanding of banking procedures, and a commitment to delivering guidance and support to the branches as needed. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Operations Support Specialist may perform other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the Bank and Department objectives.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES --or also as assigned by manager

• Back up Reg E, Returns, and/or Wire Specialist.
• Work directly with vendors
• Provide advanced and complex administrative support duties as required.
• Provide courteous, accurate, prompt information and follow through with branch questions as needed.
• New Account exception review
• Provide support to front line staff with account maintenance and customer service issues.
• Assure compliance by following policies and procedures.
• Review Daily reports as assigned.
• Knowledge of Retail procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent; college helpful but not required.
• One or more years’ experience in retail banking
• The ability to perform daily duties satisfactorily.
