Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers at the deli counter, prepare food items, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide excellent service at the deli counter
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer requests
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, including counters, equipment, and display cases
- Assist in restocking deli products and ingredients
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers and scales in a safe manner

Experience:

- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
