Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Deli Manager to oversee day to day operations. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring food safety and quality, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of deli staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of deli products, ensuring freshness and quality
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in team management, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
