Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Manager to oversee our deli operations. The Deli Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the deli, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high food quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and possess exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the deli, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise deli staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all products meet our standards
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

Experience:
- Previous experience in food service management, preferably in a deli or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Knowledge of kitchen management principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Skills:
- Coffee knowledge is preferred but not required
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Shift management experience, including scheduling and staff supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
