Demand Planner
Our client is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team on a full-time, direct-hire basis! The ideal candidate is personable, sales-oriented, and has at least five years of experience managing and coordinating forecasting activities in the industrial products industry. Responsibilities of the Demand Planner

• Own demand forecast in support of the wider supply chain function to meet market demand
• Review and refine 6-month rolling forecast models while considering sales and marketing assumptions and understanding demand forecast drivers
• Perform cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model as required
• Work closely with product and sales managers and act as a key support to ensure SIOP categories, lead times, and ABC codes are maintained for all finished goods SKUs in ERP
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
• Manage demanding planning tools and systems, supporting their maintenance and continuous improvement
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies

Qualifications of the Demand Planner

• 5 years of experience as a Demand Planner or similar role in an industrial products company
• Strong experience working with sales and customers
• Proficiency and experience with ERP systems
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
