    Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative Demand Planner for North America.

    This position is responsible for collaborating with Sales & Marketing to generate a quality demand signal used in downstream supply chain processes to align end to end material flow and prepare for actual customer demand.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Drive cross functional engagement by analyzing monthly performance metrics and qualitative forecast elements to provide insights and opportunities for improvement
    2. Develop an effective statistical forecast by managing quantitative forecast elements based on demand patterns, trends, and seasonality
    3. Lead demand planning consensus efforts with Sales & Marketing and document forecasting assumptions and decisions in support of the S&OP process
    4. Support management with risk assessment and mitigation activities driven by key demand changes
    5. Participate in sku rationalization discussions led by Sales & Marketing to guide demand estimates
    6. Contribute to new product planning initial forecast estimates and monitor market response
    7. Manage discontinued items and partner cross functionally to ensure a smooth, cost effective, phase-out
    8. Understand demand variance impact as it relates to budget and business strategies

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BS in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field of study required
    • 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain or forecasting role
    • Excellent software skills - experience in IBM Planning Analytics, SAP or equivalent demand planning system preferred
    • Ability to effectively break down complex data (quantitative and qualitative) into manageable pieces to be used in the forecasting process
    • Demonstrated proficiency applying demand and inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts
    • Ability to work and influence effectively across departments and multiple levels of management
    • Possess the business acumen and interpersonal skills to build and maintain cross functional relationships
    • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and bring ideas to fruition
    • Must understand and embrace the Wahl values and culture
