    On Demand Counseling is growing and hiring! As we have grown, so has our Medical and Mental Health group. With this growth comes a need for an experienced administrator to assist us with Appointment Booking, Prior Authorizations and Medical Record Requests along with some other needs. We are seeking someone with previous medical office administrative experience who understands the unique needs of our clients along with some understanding of the terminology and medication. 

Standard Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Communicate with staff regarding clients and service performed.
• Schedule appointments for services and obtain necessary prior authorizations when necessary.
• Properly and accurately enter insurance information.
• Complete daily paperwork/medical record requests
• Assist with client chart audits and work with staff and physicians to ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Performs other clerical duties including inventory and maintenance of supplies, copying, faxing, scanning and mailing as assigned.
• Attend required training and maintain required credentials associated with the position.
• Ability to float from clerical duties to lab performing vitals and urine drug screens.

Required Qualifications:

• Psychiatric office front desk or Psychiatric administrative experience a plus
• Ability to verify insurance properly to determine current eligibility status.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, operations and terminology.
• Professional experience with management and staff supervision, including working with a team.
• Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
• Must be organized, detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
