Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team. As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and a solid understanding of construction processes.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Monitor progress and quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineers, architects, and inspectors
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify any issues or potential risks
- Provide guidance and support to construction teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Proficient in project management software such as B2W or Trimble
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage construction teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
