We are looking for a Design Engineer to help us by supporting the manufacturing processes through the creation of detailed 2D/3D drawings and models. As a Trex Design Engineer, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to design equipment process layouts and support structures. This role is a key member of our Engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Put safety first – Always!
• Lead and foster our “people first” culture
• Create 2D/3D part drawings and models (parts and assemblies) from physical equipment or OEM drawings.
• Understanding and experience with creating equipment process layouts and how they relate in space to utilities and associated support structures such as hot oil, steam, chilled water, compressed air, etc.
• Support change management processes and procedures.
• Manage prioritization of activities to meet multiple project timeline requirements.
• Coordinate the execution of work sourced through vendors.
• Plan and execute special projects as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with a bachelor’s degree in engineering along with 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on design and optimization. Comprehensive knowledge of 2D/3D packages and advanced knowledge of P&ID and PFDs is also required. Experience working on a Greenfield/Brownfield project is preferred. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer.
