Finance Operations Support Administrator

    Job Summary
    This position is responsible for the support and maintenance of financial systems and processes.  Responsibilities include Salesforce amendments, credit requests, user training, troubleshooting, release testing, and special projects as well as financial activities in Great Plains. Interface with peers in the finance organization, equivalent counterparts in other departments, customers and 3rd party consultants or vendors.
    What you will do
    • Salesforce amendments (cancellations, rate changes, adding subscriptions, business acquisition migrations)
    • Preform invoicing, deferrals and other maintenance related items in Great Plains
    • Submit credit requests for customer escalations or billing errors
    • Own new system processes temporarily as needed.
    • Basic troubleshooting for Salesforce or Great Plains subscription or invoicing issues
    • Coordinate with counterparts on other operational teams.
    • Maintain and monitor system reports.
    • Test processes/scenarios in coordination with system admins and or project manager
    • Test system enhancements prior to production releases.
    • Train various finance users on new or adjusted processes and assist with training/documentation.
    • Subject matter expert on finance day-to-day operations and system processes.
    • Creative problem solving.
    • Assume other duties as assigned.
    Travel/Physical Demands
    • Typically less than 10%. No special physical demands required.
    Qualifications

    Must have:
    • Typically 3 or more years of related experience
    • Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
    • Proven work experience with HS1 finance processes or similar relevant role.
    • Experience with CRM and Accounting software, in particular, Salesforce CPQ, Siebel and Great Plains.
    • Some experience with, or understanding of, SOQL or SQL.
    • Experience with MS Office applications.
    • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects, maintain accuracy and execute quickly.
    • Excellent decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
    • Basic understanding of accounting practices.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Basic presentation and public speaking skills.
    • Basic interpersonal skills.
    • Developing professional credibility.
    • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

    Nice to have:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    The posted range for this position is $18-23/hr which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
