The Desktop IT Support Specialist provides technical support to the Garman Team while assisting the IT department to ensure that company operations are streamlined and secure. Responsibilities include:

• Resolve incoming tickets from Team Members regarding hardware, software, and network issues and maintain the ticketing system dashboard. This includes assisting Team Members both in-house and remotely, providing all users with the support required to carry out their responsibilities.
• Work with IT team to purchase, set up & install new equipment, including computers, monitors, printers, etc.
• Assist in training Team Members to promote best practices and prevent future issues.

The successful candidate will be able to combine technical knowledge with excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Requirements include:

• Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts with the ability to provide timely solutions.
• Associate’s degree in computer science or related technology field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
• Experience in an IT support or help desk role a plus.
• Ability to master new software and technologies quickly.
• Exceptional time management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating system (MacOS a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with Team Members to foster a positive work environment.
