The Olympic Regional Authority (Olympic Authority) manages and operates a variety of venues located in the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains in New York consisting of: three alpine skiing venues – Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington, Gore Mountain in North Creek, and Belleayre Mountain in Highmount; the Olympic Sports Complex at Mount Van Hoevenberg in the Town of North Elba, a Nordic cross country skiing and biathlon venue; the Olympic Jumping Complex in the Town of North Elba; and the Olympic Oval and Olympic Center in the Village of Lake Placid including three indoor ice skating rinks, the Olympic Museum, and the Lake Placid Conference Center.
Overview
The Marketing Director is a leadership role that works closely with the VP of Sales & Revenue and Director of Communications and oversees the Olympic Authority corporate marketing, Alpine venue marketing, and sales support initiatives.
This role collaborates with Sales and Marketing team stakeholders to define brand and venue strategy, identify goals and objectives, craft and implement marketing plans, and ensure the marketing department and venue marketing leads are supported in pursuit of all sales and marketing objectives.
The role ensures support for Alpine venue business development, ticket/season pass sales, media planning, demand generation, and communications initiatives.

Salary Range and Benefits
This position is classified as a Grade 29 on the Olympic Authority’s Management Confidential Salary Schedule which has a minimum salary of $100,076 and a maximum salary of $150,114 per year. The hiring range for this specific position is $105,000 - $115,000 per year. Final offer will be within the hiring range and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
