Job Description
The Director of Development will play a key role in bringing utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from conception through construction in locations across the United States including greenfield development, but also via acquisition of early and mid-stage development assets.
The Director of Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new project opportunities, via greenfield and acquisition, across the U.S. The Director will lead a team of project developers and analysts to advance the identified opportunities through all aspects of the development process including real estate acquisition, discretionary permitting, tax abatement negotiation, and community engagement. The Director will interface and coordinate internal resources including engineering, interconnection, project finance and construction to advance projects to Notice to Proceed.
This position may be based in Scottsdale, AZ, New York City or remote with 25-50% travel estimated.
