RESPONSIBLITIES:
Onboarding: Oversee onboarding workflows, ensuring new hires are integrated effectively and compliantly into our systems and culture.
Compliance and Audit: Regularly review and update employee organizational standards.
Employee Engagement and Benefits: Address employee inquiries, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Administrative Support: Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including document management, data entry, and assisting with internal communication, to support efficient office operations.
Administers policies and procedures designed to increase the effectiveness of employee relations and improve relationships between management and hourly team members.
Provides guidance, counsel, and instruction for management in the administration ofpolicies and procedures, to include all team member-related problems relative to attendance, seniority, work performance, discipline, and proper corrective action.
Ensures that all federal, state, and local laws are followed and consistently applied throughout the organization.
Provides guidance to team members on employee relations issues
Effectively manage internal relations, which may require levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy. Responsible for reporting issues as appropriate.
Facilitates communication throughout by attending regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor.
Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
Employee Relations Coordinator works with the Director of Recruitment and Training. This position provides strategic advising, guidance, and leadership to management on performance issues and processes. Additionally, this position works on short- and long-term planning of functions, including recruitment, staffing, employee relations, benefits, employee retention, and workforce training.
Provides administrative support and guidance to managers and staff when complex and sensitive issues arise. Effectively demonstrates, recommends and implements strategies on how to handle performance management and address difficult situations and issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years demonstrated employee relations experience, specifically providing consultation at all levels of an organization and leading investigations.
Ability to manage and work effectively in high-volume and fast-paced environment. Must have outstanding communication, computer skills, human relations, and interpersonal skills and be able to coordinate and gain the cooperation of a large and diverse staff.
Ability to multi-task and maintain efficiency and quality in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
