Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary

    The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant promotes a positive patient and family experience as the first impression of the Diagnostic Imaging department by creating a welcoming atmosphere to all patients, families and providers. The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant is responsible for the efficient and orderly registration and check-in of patients and acts as a liaison between patients, families and hospital staff. Obtains accurate and complete patient demographic information and required consents before notifying appropriate modalities of the patient's arrival. Supports Children's departments and clinics in uploading images for future referred patients, as well as sending images and reports to outside facilities for continuation of care.


    License/Certification/Registration required? No

    Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    Experience:
    • One year of customer service experience required
    • Previous experience with medical imaging software applications and the staff and vendors whose work relates to those systems
    • One year of medical office setting experience preferred
    • Experience in a Diagnostic Imaging setting preferred

    The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children’s Minnesota.

    All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Children’s Minnesota requires proof of COVID-19 vaccine, and as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), immunity to vaccine preventable infectious diseases, prior to employment.
