Diagnostic Imaging Manager jobs in Malden, MA
Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Angell Animal Medical Center has an opening for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician who is interested in Diagnostic Imaging in our AAHA standard hospital .

THE POSITION:
Do you have skills in Visual arts/graphic imaging and you love animals? The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant/Technician works to provide Angell clientele with high quality, AAHA standard, diagnostic imaging and related department services. Some of the responsibilities of the position are; accurate record keeping in the EMR and PACS systems, clerical work and patient care modeled after the values of the MSPCA.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in this position you need to have basic knowledge of diagnostic imaging tests, procedures, protocols, medical terminology, at least 1 year of professional animal handling, and anatomy and math skills. Please detail your professional animal handling skills in your cover letter.
