Heavy Truck Diesel and Fleet Mechanic

Must have at least basic set of hand tools.

This is a Full-Time position with minimum of 40 hours per week with required overtime as needed.

Shift: Monday through Friday 9am - 6pm

About Us/Fleet
-Fleet of 20 trucks daily
-100% Local miles (no over the road trucks)
-Cummins, Isuzu, CAT, Allison, etc.
-Diesel engines...few passenger/gas trucks in fleet as well

Duties Include 

-Troubleshoot and perform repair, inspection and maintenance of heavy trucks and equipment as assigned

-Perform diagnostics on engines and equipment

-Disassemble hydraulic cylinders and replace seals

-Recondition and replace parts, such as air pumps, water pumps, starters, PTOs, transmissions, etc. using hand tool and precision measuring instruments

-May weld and cut parts using Mig Welding and Flame Cutting equipment

-Operate standard hand power tools 

-Maintain service records

-Maintain supplies inventory
