DIETARY AIDE
We are looking for
competent and conscientious individuals with a customer-oriented approach who
desire to work in our Culinary Department as a Dietary Aide helping to prepare
and serve food to our residents. You will assist in food preparation, serving,
and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas adhering to all safety and health
standards under the direction of the Dietary Services Director and/or Cook. Our
goal is to provide excellent food services and AMAZING meals for our residents.
DIETARY AIDE -
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and
snacks; use portion control procedures; assist in cleaning work areas,
equipment, and floors, and dishes and utensils; assist in distributing
menus and checking trays for menu and diet preferences and accuracy;
ensure proper storage of food and supplies; and adhere to universal
precautions and sanitary, safety, and infection control policies and
procedures.
- Ensure that food and supplies are available for the
next meal, assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies,
and report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, and incidents.
- Attend orientation and in-service as required by the
federal, state, and company guidelines.
DIETARY AIDE -
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of high school education or otherwise show the
ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as
required.
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required.
- Must meet all local health regulations and pass a post-employment
physical exam, if required.
- Must be able to follow directions.
