Registered Dietitian Nutritionist- Consultant

Do you have experience as a registered dietitian and want to work for a company that positively impacts the wellbeing of the individuals it serves? 

Adult Day Health Inc. seeks a consultant registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist for seven adult day health centers in Maryland. The registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) will review menus for all centers on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Menu review will include recipe and nutrition label verification. The RDN will perform monthly nutrition assessments/reassessments for participants identified at nutrition risk as well as provide nutrition education for participants with various acute or chronic disease states and medical conditions.

Schedule:

Flexible-Ability to make your own schedule

Menu review can be completed off-site

Anticipated hours- 15-20 hours/month

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical environment and/or administering nutritional service, new graduates encouraged to apply
• Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills 
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach 
• Self-motivated 
• Ability to work both independently and with staff members at each adult day health center
• Function as part of the healthcare team at the center
• Bachelor’s Degree and completion of an Accredited Dietetics program
• Current Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Current Maryland licensure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel to each center at least once a month
