The Company:
Foley Entertainment Group manages the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, the Vegas Knight Hawks Indoor Football League franchise, Lee’s Family Forum which is home to several professional teams, the English Premier League’s AFC Bournemouth, the Australian A League’s Auckland FC Black Knights, and several other entertainment and hospitality-focused entities, including wineries, hotels, restaurants and foundations.

Essential Functions:

The Vegas Golden Knights Coordinator, Digital Content will produce and post social content for the official Vegas Golden Knights digital platforms, provide written content for VegasGoldenKnights.com and assist with ideation and execution of all content creation. This role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Digital Strategy and Editorial Content and Vice President, Marketing on all ideation and content creation as well as the team’s Web Developer on website development. 

Primary Responsibilities:
-Cover team games, practices and community events on social and web with creative, engaging editorial, photo and video content
-Travel with team to away games, league events and other player, team or business-related events.
-Collaborate with VGK content team on managing the day-to-day posting on the team’s official social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube 
-Lead content ideation and production evolution
-Assist other teams and properties managed by organization 
-Adhering to established ‘voice’ on official social platforms
-Author stories covering team news and events for official club websites
-Assist with VegasGoldenKnights.com content publishing, design and relationship with league web partner
-Assist with flow of content from ideation to execution and analysis
-Assist in compiling and analyzing social metrics 

Key Competencies and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
-3 years of relevant work experience for a professional or collegiate sports team preferred
- Experience working with high profile individuals and in a fast-paced work environment
-Demonstrates excellent writing and editing abilities
-Experience creating and directing content production with photo, video or other mediums
-Creative team player that works well within a group
-Ability to meet deadlines and execute on daily content calendar
-Knowledge of social media best practices and interest in emerging platforms, including how to optimize per channel and with paid strategies
-Positive, versatile, organized with an ability to handle several responsibilities at once
-Strong knowledge of hockey
-Embracing the VGK culture and no-ego approach

Travel:
-Travel to Golden Knights road games and other events

Schedule Overview:
-This is not a 9-5, 40-hour per week job. Candidates must be prepared to work nights, weekends and holidays
-Candidate is expected to attend all Golden Knights home games and events, as well as expect to travel on to ~50% of road games
-Candidate is expected to attend select FEG events and games as assigned
