Digital Content Specialist jobs in O Fallon, MO

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement enhancements (thumbnails, playlists, closed captioning, info cards, end cards, etc.) 
• Edit translated video content for use on multiple foreign language YouTube channels
• Facilitate content management for multiple foreign language YouTube channels by updating them with new Enjoying Everyday Life programs and short clips
• Organize and maintain posting schedules for multiple foreign language YouTube channels
• Maintain an organized database of digital content by cataloging and archiving video assets, thumbnails and other relevant digital assets 
• Collaborates with Foreign Social Media Coordinator for direction, brand loyalty and style to expedite the goals set out by the Hand of Hope media team
• Coordinate the creation of new YouTube channels as directed

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in video editing and basic graphic design
• Skills in creating unique and engaging content for the social media world, specifically YouTube 
• Knowledge of digital media editing software
• Knowledge of Mac and PC operating systems
• Knowledge of Micro Soft Office Suite 
• Knowledge of various social media channels and their functionalities 
• Knowledge of internet, social media and design terminology
• Resourceful, organized, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn with a positive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment 
• Ability to learn and understand what is culturally appropriate in other parts of the world
• Ability to interact within all levels of an organization 
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills
• Keen attention to detail

Education:

• High School diploma/GED
