Digital Commerce Content Specialist

  • Job Description

    The Digital Commerce Content Specialist will be responsible for aiding in the execution of Moen and/or House of Rohl digital product content strategy and related processes. The incumbent in this role will focus on how to best leverage digital product content to build the Moen and House of Rohl brand and maximize discoverability on key retailer websites including, but not limited to: Amazon, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, Build.com, and Wayfair.com. This position will require a collaborative mindset, strong process improvement skills, attention to detail, and broad ecommerce/digital acumen.

    Responsibilities


    • Assist the Manager, Product Content in the execution of a holistic digital product content strategy for the Digital Commerce channel with an emphasis on deploying product content that is optimized for both consumer engagement and etailer search engines.
    • Support the development, deployment and optimization of best-in-class digital merchandising assets tailored to targeted etailer websites; emphasis on product copy, descriptions, bullet points, images, video, infographics, and technical documentation.
    • Support syndication of thorough and accurate product information to online retailers via customer content management portals and product content management system (Salsify)
    • Audit and document existing processes across the enterprise for developing and deploying digital product content.
    • Develop a detailed monthly digital product content production/deployment calendar.
    • Develop digital assets in a timely manner to support new Moen products on targeted etailer sites.
    • Oversee Quality Assurance product copy and digital assets on key etailer sites.
    • Analyze performance and impact of digital content investments with key etailer accounts to determine customer impact and ROI.
    • Audit/assess each major etailer using the digital product content scorecard.
    • Leverage internal and external data sources to gather relevant industry benchmarks.
    • Oversee the day to day management of outside digital content vendors.
    • Follow internal processes while also seeking ways to increase team efficiencies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience inclusive of a minimum of 2 years of experience working in teams supporting the execution of product content marketing programs is required.
    • Experience in consumer durables products is a plus.
    • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity around product content marketing with a passion for developing best in class content.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines.
    • Proven team player comfortable working on multiple cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with Salsify Product Content Management Platform is preferred.
    • Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
    • Demonstrated high level understanding of SEO, PPC and Display Advertising as it relates to digital copy.
    • Familiarity with product content management platforms.
