Participates in all phases of physical design including floor planning, clock synthesis, timing optimization and signal integrity. Requires knowledge of tools such as BIST, Verilog, IDDQ, and IC Design scripting language. Additionally, Digital Design Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The Digital Design Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We are seeking Electrical Engineers with 3 years of experience in power analog circuit design/validation.
Required Skills
1) 3 years design experience (via EMI/EMC principles) with low signal analog and power electronics, including component power consumption/power dissipation calculation.
2) Tool experience for circuit simulation (e.g. PSPICE)
3) Experience with Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition for schematic capture or similar tool (Cadence, Zuken, etc)
