Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the digital design of integrated circuits and related development. Participates in all phases of physical design including floor planning, clock synthesis, timing optimization and signal integrity. Being a Digital Design Engineer generates functional and design specifications, defines module interfaces, conducts design reviews and participates in design implementation. Requires knowledge of tools such as BIST, Verilog, IDDQ, and IC Design scripting language. Additionally, Digital Design Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The Digital Design Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Five years’ experience, (ten years a plus) in the field of
engineering and developing consumer and medical products
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or
Product Design Engineering is required for this position.
- Candidates must demonstrate aptitude for rapid creation of
innovative mechanical solutions (structures and
mechanisms)
- Familiar with all common prototyping and manufacturing
materials and processes
- Highly experienced with SolidWorks best practices in solid
modelling, surface modelling, assemblies, drawings and design for manufacture
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Client-facing, project management experience is
highly preferred
- Consulting / Agency experience is highly
preferred
- Experience with medical product development a
plus
- Experience with electronics integration is preferred
